The Aphasia CRE is seeking expressions of interest from Australian speech pathologists interested in joining our team at La Trobe University as casual research assistants (trial assessors and therapists).
We are interested in hearing from speech pathologist with at least 12 months clinical experience in working with people with aphasia.
These are work-from-home opportunities well suited to people working part-time on extended leave or re-entering the profession. It would suit speech pathologists with at least 2-5 hours available during the day on weekdays.
Trial assessors conduct online assessments of people with aphasia and their significant others. Trial therapists provide a group aphasia intervention. These are both conducted over Zoom.
We provide training specific to the study, and it is a great opportunity to be involved in aphasia research. If you are interested in this opportunity, please email Emily Eley – E.Eley@latrobe.edu.au
