This presentation will address challenges in assessing multilingual adults with aphasia and outline strategies for overcoming them. Topics include premorbid proficiency versus post-stroke abilities, self-reports, selecting appropriate tools, assessing languages clinicians do not know through interpreters, and interpreting multilingual assessment data..
