International Stakeholder Perspectives, Experiences, and Priorities for Aphasia Awareness: Co-design of a Unified Campaign.

This presentation summarises Claire’s PhD research and will:
•redefine what we mean by aphasia awareness
•summarise what stakeholders have done to raise awareness of aphasia internationally and the barriers and facilitators to raising awareness
•describe international priorities for a unified campaign
•outline the codesigned international campaign blueprint and operationalisation plan.
Claire is a UK trained speech and language therapist with extensive experience working with people with aphasia in a range of clinical settings in the UK and Australia. Claire is honoured to be the current Chairperson of the Australian Aphasia Association, having been a board member since 2018.
