Dear Healthcare Professionals and Researchers,
You are invited to take part in an online survey which takes around 10 minutes to complete.
The aim of this research study is to get agreement on a core outcome set for post-stroke facial palsy (COS-Post-stroke facial palsy). This means we will agree with researchers and healthcare professionals ‘what’ aspects of facial palsy we should measure after stroke.
We want to recruit:
- Healthcare professionals: If you have worked or worked with or currently work with stroke survivors in acute and community settings or work with any sort of facial palsy as a result of stroke, we would love to hear from you about getting involved in this research.
- Researchers: If you have been involved or are involved in stroke or facial palsy related research, we would love to hear from you about getting involved in this research.
The participant information sheet is attached to this email. This study has been approved by the University of Manchester Research Ethics Committee (2024-21316-38685). This survey will ask you to rate various aspects of post-stroke facial palsy and how important they are to you on a scale of 1-9 with 1 the LEAST important and 9 the MOST important.
This survey will collect limited personally identifiable details, including your name and email address (required for participation in the second round of survey) and demographic information (gender, ethnicity, country of residence, and professional experience duration). All personal information will be pseudonymised during data analysis and reporting.
