Dr Caterina Breitenstein is a senior researcher in aphasia rehabilitation, specialising in the measurement of treatment outcome and in randomized controlled trials to determine the efficacy of behavioural, pharmacological and brain stimulation treatments. She was Deputy-Chair of the Collaboration of Aphasia Trialists and Secretary of the German Aphasia Research Society until 2024.
