This seminar will explore what self-management is and present findings from the StarStep study. The StarStep study aimed to evaluate the feasibility of implementing and evaluating the ‘Living with Aphasia’ supported self-management intervention. This intervention was co-produced with stroke survivors with aphasia, their family members and speech and language therapists.
Faye is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Leeds, UK. Faye’s disciplinary background is in Psychology and main research interests are in improving psychological wellbeing and adjustment after stroke. Faye is primarily a qualitative researcher with an interest in complex intervention development methods (including co-production).
