Advances in Implementation Science: Empowering clinicians to drive practice change in aphasia services
Presentation by: Dr Kirstine Shrubsole
Attendees will learn about advances in implementation science within aphasia, and applications for practice and research. This will include:
• design and outcomes of an implementation toolkit for aphasia best practice, including how clinicians successfully led change as ‘Champions’,
• the process of co-designing, and evaluation plans for, a self-guided web-based toolkit
Kirstine is a speech pathologist with a specialist research focus on implementation science in post-stroke aphasia management. Her research involves collaborating with clinicians to improve practice, deliver best clinical care and reduce evidence-practice gaps.
