Hi  As we step into June, I am excited to share that it is Aphasia Awareness Month!
This month is dedicated to raising awareness about aphasia, a communication disorder that affects millions of people worldwide. It’s a time to educate ourselves and others about the challenges faced by those living with aphasia and to promote understanding and support within our communities.

Here’s how you can get involved:
Spread the Word: Share information about aphasia on your social media platforms. Use hashtags like #AphasiaAwarenessMonth and #LetsTalkAphasia to join the conversation.
Educate Yourself and Others: Take the time to learn about aphasia, its causes, and its impact on communication. Resources are available to help you understand this condition better.
Support the Community: Consider participating in local events or initiatives aimed at supporting individuals with aphasia and their families. Your involvement can make a significant difference!
Share Personal Stories: If you or someone you know has been affected by aphasia, sharing personal experiences can help raise awareness and foster understanding.

In this powerful short video, we share the story of **Emily**, a vibrant 22-year-old who experienced a life-altering stroke, leading to her diagnosis of **aphasia**. This often-invisible disability affects her ability to communicate, but it does not define her spirit.
Together, we can break the silence surrounding aphasia and create a more inclusive environment for everyone. Let’s make this June a month of awareness, education, and support!
