Get involved – Recruiting for a study on user experiences of virtual reality (in persons with aphasia) – Sydney

Hello,

My name is Dr. Brielle Stark, and I’m a Fulbright Scholar and Honorary Faculty at University of Technology Sydney researching the user experiences of persons with aphasia with virtual reality. I work closely with Dr. Lucy Bryant, a speech therapist and Senior Lecturer at UTS.

We are seeking persons close to Sydney who are able to come to UTS for a single 2-2.5 hour session to experience and give feedback on several virtual reality scenarios. Ethics approval at UTS ETH24-9754. No technology experience is required! There is compensation for participants.

The long-term goal of this research is to develop a virtual reality program to improve communication outcomes in persons with aphasia, and this is the first step of that process.

I am happy to answer any questions.

Interested parties can contact me on this email (brielle.stark@uts.edu.au) or Dr. Bryant at lucy.bryant@uts.edu.au or 0295147189.

Best,
Brielle C Stark, PhD
