Communication Connect is trialling a speech pathology telerehabilitation service national directory, focusing on acquired neurogenic communication difficulties.
Funded by the NHMRC and developed through the Aphasia CRE, Communication Connect aims to provide digital support and self-management options. Through our co-design process, people living with acquired communication difficulties have indicated they want easier access to telerehabilitation options. To do this, a national directory that is highly accessible, comprised of services with experience in adult rehabilitation is required.
The Communication Connect directory will serve as a comprehensive listing of telerehab services and a central hub for information regarding telerehabilitation, including how it works and the types of services available.
People living with communication difficulties and clinicians will be able to search this directory to connect with services offering telerehabilitation across Australia.
If you or your service has experience delivering interventions for people with non-progressive, acquired neurogenic communication difficulties via telerehabilitation, this form will allow you to list your service on the Communication Connect teledirectory.
Currently, Communication Connect is being developed for a research study and trialled within a specific region of Victoria. In future, if it expands, you would receive login credentials to update or remove your service details.
