Dear all,
We are delighted to announce that registration for the International Aphasia Rehabilitation Conference 2024 is now open!
Register here: https://shrs.uq.edu.au/research/research-centres-and-units/qarc/aphasia-conference

Early-bird registration (until May 30) for professionals (researchers and clinicians) is AUD$350. A special discounted rate of only AUD$100 is available to students (undergraduate and post-graduate), people with aphasia and supporters, and attendees from low and middle income countries (see https://wellcome.org/grant-funding/guidance/low-and-middle-income-countries).
The full research program will be available soon. The afternoon of day 1 of the conference includes a “Research Access” session. This session is intended for all delegates (i.e., presentations are not repeated elsewhere in the program), however this session has also been designed to be accessible to people living with aphasia. Attendance for people with aphasia and their supporters who only wish to attend this session is free, and there is a separate registration process here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/international-aphasia-research-conference-2024-access-session-tickets-851893274717)
Please note, the conference is in-person only. There are no online presentations or attendance. All registration types include access to all sessions for the 3 days of the conference, daily catering (morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea) and access to a networking event from 5-7pm on Day 1 of the conference. There is no day registration. There is also the option to register for the conference dinner (2 July) and the Collaboration of Aphasia Trialists (CATs) retreat (4-5 July) (refer to https://shrs.uq.edu.au/research/research-centres-and-units/qarc/aphasia-conference for details).
We look forward to seeing you in Brisbane! Please feel free to share this information and the attached flyer with your networks.
Kind regards,
Sarah Wallace and David Copland
