This presentation will provide an overview of the Queensland Aphasia Research Centre (QARC), its activities and its progress over the last 4 years, including opportunities as a centre in partnership with the STARS hospital.
Professor David Copland is Director of the Queensland Aphasia Research Centre and leads the Neurobiological and Psychosocial Predictors of Recovery Program in the CRE in Aphasia. His research investigates aphasia rehabilitation including mechanisms of recovery and the development and implementation of comprehensive aphasia treatments.
