Speech Pathologists will find these card packs very useful for assessments and for word retrevial therapy.
The COMPARE Therapy Cards consist of 480 coloured photographs of pairs of nouns (144 x 2) and pairs of verbs (96 x 2). The coloured photographs are displayed on 2-sided playing card sized cards (89mm x 63mm; 3.5 inches x 2.5 inches). These are organised into sets of 32 (16 pairs each) by difficulty. As they are paired, the cards can be used for simple games within therapy sessions – especially useful for group treatment. There are also cards with written words for each item, for cueing.
The COMPARE Naming Battery contains 180 object (110 noun) and action (70 verb) coloured photographs. It can be used to assess the severity of an individual’s word retrieval impairment and identify stimuli suitable for inclusion in intervention. A scoresheet can be download. The coloured photographs are displayed on 2-sided playing card sized cards. One side contains the photo and the reverse side the item number.

These card packs are being sold on a cost recovery basis and are only available via our online store, we ship domestically and internationally.
Many hours of work and funds have gone into sourcing images, licencing, copyright, design and printing. Some boxes have been lightly used but all cards for sale are in ‘as new’ condition. We are not aiming to make a profit on these resources, just trying to recover costs to put back into more aphasia research!
