Last Wednesday we welcomed the Rotary film crew at the Aphasia CRE office. Through their partnership with Aphasia Victoria, Rotary has been filming stories from people with aphasia and an interview about aphasia research, with Prof Miranda Rose, to raise awareness and engagement with the aphasia community.
Rotary is working to educate Rotarians about aphasia, what it means to live with aphasia and how to better communicate with people with aphasia, they are also encouraging people living with aphasia to be actively involved in the service club. Such a fantastic partnership and great news for aphasia awareness. We are looking forward to seeing the end result.
Pictures Group L-R: Rob Gild, Ryan Pope, Sean Meltzer, Miranda Rose and Amanda Wendt.
